Like what does it do?

so do you just play the expansion pack or are you supposed to put it in at the same time as the normal one?

Hi if you have got the sims 1, then alll you do is install the expansion pack like you would do with a normal game. When you put the disc in, you will be able to access new features on you sims game. Check what order you have to install the expansion packs on your computer as there is an order you have to install them in or they wont work. And remeber the last expansion disc you put in is the disc you will need to use for as the play disk

It adds loads of extras...........so in the case of The Sims - you get different options for characters (what they look like etc), more things available to buy, more places to build your house, and even the chance to build a holiday resort or pet shop (depending on what one you get) - so that you look after more Sims, not just one family.
An example of an expansion pack for The Sims would be "The Sims Holiday".
You've got me in The Sims mood now - I may have to play it again.

It gives you different items, and scenarios and stuff. Like the pets expansion pack for sims 2 gives you pets and pet accessories. It usually tells you on the box what it's for.

The game expands so that you can do more while playing and get more stuff for your Sims. The latest one Sims 2 Pets for instance, has cats, dogs,guinea pig like animal things, caged birds and all the things that go with them. Only the cats and dogs are playable but the Sims all interact with the others and gain skill points from them.

u get loadsa extras like in The sims Pets expansion pack you get Pets and you can go to places like a pet store.

it is just like well, self explanatory, you can combine 2 games in one, and you can get items tht you normally couldnt get when you didnt have the expansion pack. its is just a lot more fun, u should get it.
