First off: you can't take advil or anything like that, any over the counter medications without talking to a doctor first, and mornining sickness can occur really early, it starts within the first week usually I think, and you get it at all hours of the day, not just morning.
Good luck,

Morning sickness is really an expression more than a time you get sick. Women can get sick during pregnancy at any time of day. It varies with each woman. It may be too early to tell if you're pregnant but you might try a home pregnancy test and see. You'll know something is up soon enough if you miss your period. I don't think it's a problem taking a small dose of Advil. Many women do when they don't know that they're pregnant yet without having problems with the baby. But if you're really concerned do a test and see if it shows something. If it's positive, then you can stop taking stuff. But a negative doesn't necessarily mean you're pregnant. But time will tell. Good luck!

Yes it is possible to have 'morning' sickness ANY time of a 24 hr span. But if you do experience sickness, it will normally occur the same time every day. (luckily I didn't have morning sickness) My breast did grow quite a bit and they were quite sore for about a month or so. Just remember that everyone is different and pregnancy does different things to different people. To find out for sure you'll just have to wait until you'd be 5-6 wks preg for a home preg test, or you can get a blood test at the dr's. Good luck with getting preg... don't worry so much. I tried not to think about it so much, and that's when it happened! LOL! For pain, take Tylenol... that's why my mid-wives said is OK for any pain.

This is my non-medical opinion.
When we want to become pregnant we are looking at every little detail of discomfort we get. You may just have the flu.
With my first daughter, I became ill everyday around 4 pm. It surprised me because like you, I thought morning sickness was only in the morning.
I believe that the "sickness" is our body trying to make sense of the major changes we're having. For me, eating little meals throughout the day helped, sometimes.
I had an incredible sensitivity to smells which often triggered vomiting. (I still hate the smell of Tabasco)
Unless you cannot keep water down so that you become dehydrated, you just have to wait till that time passes. It will get better. You'll feel wonderful in your second trimester!
Personally, I would not take meds during this time.
Good luck and stay hydrated!

You can get "morning sickness" any time fo day. Don't take Advil or Pepto Bismol. I know for sure Advil will hurt a baby, I'm not sure about the Pepto but ask a Dr to be certain. The breast tenderness didn't subside for me until the 5th month or so & then it came back right after delivery. Tylanol is the only safe pain reliever but use it in moderation.

You are probably feeling sick due to nerves or something else. Pregnancy nausea doesn't kick in until the actual hormones are in place, usually around 6 weeks pregnant. It's more possible that you are under stress, which can also incite all the symptoms of pregnancy, plus. Stress causes late periods and has a tole on your body in other ways. That is why it is so important for women to be so informed about their bodies, and their health. Colleen

You can get morning sickness at any time of day so it is a possiblity. At this time you would be around three and a half weeks pregnant so it is possible for some sysptoms to be occuring. Some woman claim to know they are pregnant straight away.
Breast pain can be constant but it is generally brought on by movement or touching which agitates it.
I think you should test next week and I'll be hoping you get your positive, good luck.

pepto is a big no, as is advil. ibuprofen (advil) is a blood thinner and bad for the baby. i don't know why pepto is bad, but my ob said it was when i asked with my last baby. i know acetaminophen (tylenol) is okay to take. if you have an ob, i would let her know about your nausea, (s)he can prescribe fenergan, which is great for getting rid of nausea.
as for getting sick at night... yes, it can happen at night. every woman is different, as is every pregnancy, and some get sick early, some in the midday, and some at night.
before i missed my period with my first child, i thought i had the flu, but had no fever. then my period was nowhere to be found and i took a test. i'd say until you don't have a period, don't be too hopeful (a little, but not too much).
good luck, hon.

Morning sickness is at all hours of the day.....The only thing that doctors say is completely safe to use during pregnancy is Tylenol. If your breats hurt because of pregnancy that probably won't help to much.
