No, there has not been an unvictorious team 0-16 since the 16 game schedule was introduced. Tampa Bay was the last team not to win a game 0-14. It also must be noted that no team has gone 16-0 either ('98 Vikings were 15-1). When you play such a physical sport with this many games in a season, you will lose at least one and probably get lucky at least once.

The expansion T.B. Buccaneers lost their first 26 games as a team. They only went 0-14 as the schedule obviously was 14 games long and proceeded to lose the first 12 games of the next season... but we have just witnessed history, the Detroit Lions have accomplished the worst 5 year accumulated record of futility in the history of the NFL (worst winning percentage). Even losing 26 games in a row the Bucs had a better 5 year record....poor Brady Quinn, hope the checks offset the pain of losing and the pain he will feel after being "protected" by the mighty Lion offensive (great word for them...and the rest of the team for that matter) line.

No, I think 1-15 is the worst record in a 16 game season. When Tampa Bay when winless in their first year, losing all their games, it wasn't a 16 game season, although they did lose over 16 straight.
