i've noticed on some questions every answer has a thumbs down

While browsing the answers I usually give a thumbs up to good or funny answers. I only give a thumbs down to distasteful or offensive answers or questions (not because I don't agree)

Well, I also see thumbs up-ratings.....but I agree with you : it seems there ARE people who like to give a thumbs-down, just for the fun of it. (or maybe to get rid of their anger?)
Even if an answer can't be anything else than 100% correct, there seem to be people who give it a bad rating.

Yes. I know. I do not understand the satisfaction behind such an act especially when the answer doesn't deserve thumbs down.

i know what you mean its annoying because they give stupid useless answers thumbs up to then we give good information and advice and get thumbs down ! ill give you a thumbs up for this question tho :)

i think so. because i see people with like a good answer or the correct answer and they have like 8 or 9 thumbs down. what gives. they shoudl really do away with that.

Some people do for various reasons, and it happens to everyone. They should really do away with the feature, but then again, there are lots of things that yahoo needs to do away with.
