I think all people should be able to legaly marry, whether it be straight or homosexual. If 2 poeple really and truly love each other, it doesnt matter what the law is. Are gay people gonna hurt you if they get married? I dont think so, I am straight and I live next door to lesbians, and they are perfectly normal people! People shouldnt judge anybody unless they have walked a mile in their shoes.

In my opinion, there is nothing to argue here. Everyone should have the right to marry, whether you are heterosexual or homosexual. I don't understand how others get mad or disgusted by this. It isn't them that is getting married to another guy or girl. What is it to them what to gay people do? It isn't their problem. Apparently NJ just passed a law or something allowing gay marriages...Let's see what happens with that. Hopefully they allow it...

i agree with you 100%! I dont see what the big deal about same sex marriages... ppl dont see that homosexuals are ppl and have feelings too. Getting married doesnt have to be done in a church (which i think is the "big deal"). Two ppl that love each other should be able to live hapily ever after no matter what their sexual preference is.

I completely agree with you. We are all human beings and we should all have the same rights, no matter how different we may be from others. I still don't know why some people are making a big deal about this. It's their life, just let them be happy.

Not only do I love debate (ah... all those opinions based more on emotion than reason!) but I feel ANYONE should be able to legally marry. (Now, I don't really understand why anyone would WANT to, but those are my scars...).
In Canada, gay marriage is legal. I am thankful to live in this country...

there is nothing wrong with gays. people r just scared because we r different and people dont like different. thank you to all of you who dont have a problem with it. and for those of you who dont agree, i pray for your eyes too open and for every one to be ok with who people are. this will never be a free country until all the sexist attitudes disaper. i pray to GOD that that day will come soon. (Yes, I love debating.) I think the whole idea of marriage is a bogus, ridiculous sham. If straight people are entitled to sentence themselves to pain and suffering, gay people should be allowed the same luxury! :-)
