'Area 51' stories were an "alien scary hoax" created by the US Govt. to distract the public from the research that was being done there that resulted successfully in Stealth technology. Area 51 was simply a secret research facility. Nothing strange or alien went on there, but some amazing science did!
Given how vast the universe is, and how common the elements that resulted in us, it seems improbable that there is not some form of life elsewhere, too, but because of time & space distance, it is improbable we will ever meet each other, and even if we did, it would not end well. Think of what the Europeans did to the "Indians" in the Americas, and they were only very slightly more technologically advanced. Any alien lifeform sufficiently advanced to find us would most certainly only be looking for food, pets, or natural resources!

There's so many conspiracies about area 51. (Government setup, terrorists...)
I personally haven't seen anything, but my 8th grade science teacher had articles of many different UFO sitings, with some pretty believable photographs.
I think anybody who doesn't think there is life on other planets doesn't have an open mind. How selfish are we to think we're the ONLY planet in the galaxy that supports life? There's billions of planets, billions of stars, and billions of galaxies, so there could be one 5 billion light years away that we will never see. We may never know if they're too far away...

There are other solar systems and spiral galaxies out there we know that for a fact. Yes there are other planets out there just like this one, they are just so far away we can't communicate as of yet. But I firmly believe they are there. As far as area 51 I have heard reasonably convincing stories both ways. I have heard pilots swear up and down something UFOish was dancing (so to speak) on their wings and was seen by several professionals but it could not be explained. Military jets scrambled to intercept something that just toys with them in the air. There must be some sort of intelligence in these crafts...from earth?...from beyond? There IS something there.

It's a possibility. We would be highly conceited to think we were the only planet with life forms. Really though, it's still debatable if there's real life on this planet.

Wouldnt it be quite arrogant and presumptuous if we were to assume we are the only intelligent life forms that inhabit this universe?

i think before we can reach the level of knowledge to answer this we must first aknowledge the life on our planet.

Undoubtedly. I haven't seen any, but that hardly means they're not there.
