Araldite and bandages I reckon. Might not work too well but at least the ingredients are inexpensive.
If you felt more adventurous, then perhaps something could be done from one of those "bag sealers" that melts things together.
Or staples - could even get a few gold plated so they don't rust too quick - always annoying when your staples go rusty I find.

If you have misinterpreted the word "hernia" as referring to a displaced air filter on you lawnmower, floss should work nicely. If you have not, and indeed have a "traditional" hernia. LEAVE IT THE HELL ALONE AND GO TO THE DOCTOR.

Hmmm, you could always try but I doubt the cosmetic effect would be quite as good as a surgeon would acheive!..lol..;
