there isn't one.
generally, it's shown in typing in two ways.
sqrt(x) and x^0.5
if you REALLY need a radical, how to get one depends on the computer (mac or pc) and the program.

There is no radical sign in the keyboard. If you are writing formulas in Excel examine the following results.
Why use radical when exponential is handy.
I prefer using decimal exponents for estimation purposes and less keyboard inputs.
(1) Square Root of 4 = 4^0.5 = 2, rather than Square Root of 4 = 4^1/2 = 2, or Square Root of 4 = 4^(1/2) = 2.
Watch these closely:
(2a) Cube Root of 27 = 27^0.3333 = 2.99967
(2b) Cube Root of 27 = 27^(1/3) = 3
(2c) Cube Root of 27 = 27^1/3 = 9
This is a fallacy.
Try (2c) in your Excel worksheet.
Another example using Excel:
Square Root of 25 = 25^0.5 = 5
Square Root of 25 = 25^(1/2)= 5
Square Root of 25 = 25^1/2 = 12
More Example:
81^0.25 = 3
81^(1/4) = 3
81^1/4 = 20.25
Got it?
Moral:
Be very careful with your keyboard. It might drive you nuts.

If you have a Windows machine, do the following:
1). Click on START then select ALL PROGRAMS.
2). Select ACCESSORIES.
3). Select CHARACTER MAP.
4). Scroll down to the â sign, select and copy it.
5). Now you can paste it whenever you need it.
It's not on the keyboard, but that's the next best thing!
I've made a keyboard shortcut for the character map
because I use it so much.

I doesn't have one. You need to type it as being raised to the one-half power.
The square root of 25 would be 25^1/2

If you're using Windows, here's what I do.
Go to the Start Menu.
Select Run...
Type in charmap and hit enter.
Scroll down almost to the bottom until you see the â sign.
Double click on it, click the copy button, and then paste it into your document.
If you're using Microsoft Word, there are easier ways. Under the Insert menu, Symbol submenu, for instance.

There is no â key on the keyboard. You can copy it from your Character Map, though. The Character Map is under System Tools, which is under Accessories when you list All Programs.
