Car drivers - constantly.

class bike, had an older one myself before progressing to Hornet. It's Italian and built (no matter what the manufacturer says) for warmer climes than Britain. As a result of this alloy parts will start to look old quite soon. Electrics are not the strongest point either and sometimes the paint is a little thinner than it should be. An Aprillia is a lovely bike but needs constant care. Expensive 2 stroke oil is needed and make sure electrics are kept damp free by using WD40 or the such. They seize because people forget they are 2 stroke and riding about at full throttle in the wrong gear will over stress them. Health to ride and buy a good helmet.

Idiot car drivers that are trying to kill you, Keep your headlight on all the time, even in daylight. If you ride it in winter clean the salt and road grime off it as this will eat your bike. Also keep it topped up wigh high quality synthetic 2 stroke oil. Putoline is the best although Motul and silkolene never did my 2 strokes any harm. Other than that, good choice of bike, have fun and try not to drop it

Most of the problems associated with learner-legal two-stroke sports bikes, such as signs of abuse and neglct if buying second hand.

Ownership of this machine isn't a low maintenance affair. It's a fragile Itallian thing that will probably be thashed. Of course, make sure the oil is topped up as and when necessary, service it as scheduled. Basically, keep tabs on it.

All that aside, I wouldn't mind one... though of course, I still live with the parents, and they more or lass say 'No'.
