Traumas affect different people different ways, the character may have been driven crazy and become a cannibal to try and find out why his sister was eaten, or something like that. The mind is a mysterious thing.

Hope I helped!

eewww....me either. maybe that person is using the consumption and digestion of his sister as an excuse for becoming a canibal himself? maybe there is a hidden reason that hasn't been revealed yet? he probably had other psycological problems before this.....so maybe his sister being eaten by some freak isn't the only reason he chose this....diet....

Ever met my sister?

But, you might be right! I've never been a fan of boiled meat.
Spit-roast her - that would be a different matter!!

Hey - it's a book!

Does seem odd. Maybe the idea is that he became curious, or was he so young that he just accepted that cannibalism might be acceptable?

Oh my! that is a horrid way to be put off one's food of choice. Now, if someone were to boil and eat my brother's sister-in-law, they would die of food poisoning. She is one toxic biatch.

If they boiled her that would really arouse the vengence in my soul. I would eat the people who did it. I would eat them with plenty of salsa. No; mustard, actually.
