You need to take a couple of things into account: Who will be interviewing you? Where will it be? If it's a dean and takes place in his or her office, you need to dress more professionally. I woudn't go so far as to wear a suit (it's college, not Goldman Sachs), but a nice sweater and skirt is a good idea. If you are meeting an alum at their house or a coffee shop, you can dress much more casually. Jeans are a big no-no, but nice cords or black pants with a button-down shirt and fitted jacket look neat and professional. The key is to find the right balance between trying too hard and trying too little.
For my interview with a dean at Columbia (I got in), I wore a black and beige a-line plaid skirt and black trutleneck with black mary janes with a bit of a heel. For an interview with an advisor at Drew (also accepted, with full scholarship), I wore black pants, white button-down shirt and a purple velvet blazer.

no matter what type of interview you're going for its best to dress the part. since you're going to a college interview you should dress in something modern which is chic and hot but not too revealing. maybe one of those suits that you wear with skirts and heels. Also keep it simple, not too much jewelry that overpowers everything. good luck! i'm gonna be going to a college interview soon and I hope it all works out for both u and me.

Wear some nice pants and a dressy shirt. Like if you were going to an awards ceremony or something.. Nice, but still modern and you. Just don't dress up in a suit.

Wear a nice pair of slacks and a blouse with a jacket. A nice pair of loafers and a small handbag. Think more conservative rather than trendy. Good Luck!
