Is it because the muslim faith encourages people to lie? It's stated that lying is allowed in islam whenever they feel it's under "attack" or scrutiny. How do these countries dismiss hundreds of thousands of witnesses, reports, recordings and film?

That's the easiest, simple answer.

To try and link Hiroshima/Nagasaki with what happened during the time of The Holocaust is idiotic.
However unfortunate or misguided it was to drop those two bombs there was no conscious desire to wipe out every Japanese person. The politicians at the time took ,what many believe to be wrong ,the decision purely in the desire to reduce the numbers of future deaths. To have invaded Japan would have cost far more lives both allied and axis than died during and after the explosions.
I disagree with your point that the Muslim faith (Islaam) promotes lying ,Islamic countries wish to deny that The Holocaust happened simply because to them killing 6,000,000 Jews is just a start. They agree with it and wish they`d thought of it first.
As for Turkey and Armenia ,any denial is simply political expediency - they are after all a Muslim country - extermination of "infidels" has been in their blood for over a thousand years.
"Convert or die!"
Before anyone gets on any high horse ,technically I am a baptised Christian however NOT a practising one - I accept that atrocities happened on BOTH sides during The Crusades ,and yes The Crusaders DID perpetrate most.

Personally, I am a religious Jew and have a very strong connection to my heritage, culturally, historically. I have many family members who perished in the Holocaust, as well as survivors, as do many of my friends. I also have a very strong connection to Israel, personally and through Israeli friends. I do not, however, have any hate towards the innocent civilians in Europe or the middle east, just anger towards their governments.
There is no doubt that the Holocaust or the Armenian genocide happened. They were both well-documented by the governments who promoted these atrocities, yet they are doubted or denied at every chance. Why? Well, it is not because the Muslim faith encourages liars....Muslims have nearly identical moral codes in many ways to Jews and Christians. We are all Abrahamic religions, after all. Rather it is (probably) due to a frightening surge towards fundamentalism the world over.
Many people, in all religions, are using extremism, the perversion of religion and textual proofs, xenophobia, and scapegoating to promote a cause that they strongly believe in. (I may have understated that...a cause for which they are willing to die, and kill as many innocents as they can in the process.) It is not exactly a sane stance; they disregard evidence as propoganda, then create their own propoganda and label it evidence (i realize that this sounds prejudiced, please, bear with me) Children's telivision shows broadcasting adorable little girls extolling the values of martyrdom is not a good thing by any stretch of the imagination. So, why does it continue? Well, the civillians, don't know any better, as they have been censored all of their lives. And the governments who promote this behavior are working for an ulterior political motive. It no longre has anything to do with religion.
In fact, all the religions of the world have had well-documented periods of time in which they lived ogether peacefully with one another, so religion is clearly not the underlying factor here.

First of all, "Lying is allowed in Islam", that's completely wrong. Lying as in any other religion is forbidden in Islam.

Where did you find that statement? I'm a muslim and tell you that's incorrect.

Second, we've never denied the holocaust. Lately, a conference was held in Iran to Discuss the holocaust.

What we deny and reject in the holocaust tragedy is the use of such tragedy in politics and try to win points by trading with the souls of those poor people as it is being done these days.

Many other holocausts are being/ were carried out if you didn't notice, and however no one is talking about them, see for example what's happening in these countries:

Palastain by isreali - Iraq by american
Lebanon by isreali - Hiroshima by american, etc...

It just keeps me wondering why there is only one holocaust we are talking about? What about the other?

Why? Because you people play 3 monkeys about Turkish people's pain and sorrow. Do you know anything about Ermeni Zulmü / Armenian Cruelty. Did you visit Genocide Museum and Monument in Iğdır? Here an Ottoman Officer in Erzurum writes about Armenian Cruelty: - They tricked the males to come with them, they said they will give them jobs and money. - They filled people into the houses and burned them down. - They nailled a 12 years old girl from her ears to a mosque wall. - They hanged one women and three children from a shop window. - They nailled three males, four women and one boy from their hands to a shop wall. - They cooked two people and sold these food to Turks. - They burned 450 people in Ahmed Efendi's house. - They killed 1373 people in Hacı Ahmet Han. - There weren't any males in Alaca, Stavuk, Dinarkom, Müdirge and Arzuti villages. 570 people died in Kars, 2000-2500 people died in Van you can visit Van Museum's Massacre Section to see their bones. 1986 May-July, 3 mass graves in Alaca village 278 bodies found. 1988 October 7, another mass grave in Erzurum 100 bodies found. You can visit Erzurum Museum Massacre Section to see their bones. 1991 June 20, mass grave in Kars 570 bodies found. 1990 April 4, mass grave in Van. 1986 March 1, mass grave in Oba village 90 bodies found. 1999 October 6, mass grave in Iğdır - Hakmehmet 80 bodies found. Maybe because of this?

Unfortunately its not just these nations who deny wrongdoing, as a society we do not learn the lessons of history, look at the Americans and Guantanamo Bay, I can see them holding up their hands and spitting out all the gory details of that.

I think a lot is to do with the many government's stance on existence of Israel - it doesn;t basically exist. Any reference made in text to Israel when I worked in Q8 was removed by the 'censors' they did that believe it or not with the 'map' part of inflatable globes! seriously.. same with alcohol. therefore it just isn;t open for discussion I imagine and the information isn;t there for ordinary Joe Bloggs.

now that Iranian leader he's a bit of a wierdo though and should know better ..........
