First of all it is not a fake coin that was sold overseas. It is not a coin at all, but a medal. Many companies put out medals during our bicentennial year 1976. The U.S. mint did a good job at putting out quite a few medals that year, but private issues beat the mint out by thousands. There is a very large book out there on the medals from 1976. Like most medals you need to find a person who collects what you have. I like education medals given to students for good grades or attendance from the late 1800's. They are fun to try to find info on. Your medal will interest 2 groups, one aviation the other 1976 collectors. It should be worth a few dollars and if silver even more.

Sure, I'll give you a nickle for it!

As to its collectability value, that's a different matter. Many many companies struck commemorative medallions at the bicentennial. Generally, they have minimal value unless you can find someone for whom it might have meaning.

An employee of Bell, or a child of one, a texas bicentennial collector, etc might pay a small amount for a commemorative, but generally, the answer is "no"

You might review auction prices for similar pieces. at for example:

I note that generic bicentennial medals at yahoo and ebay are going for under $5.

The Commemorative USA Bicentennial 1776 - 1976 Medal

although in recent years it has been
sold overseas as a fake coin.

It has no numismatic value.

But as an art piece about $1.00 - $2.00

Here is one that went unsold on eBay...
