what do i do?? He's going away!!?

My guy friend from work who i have fallen for is going away to his nans for the whole christmas week. I won't see him until we return to work the following week. It will be the longest i haven't seen him since i met him 6 months ago. What can i do? I am going to be so upset, especially as it's christmas. His nan is sick thats why he has got to go to her. How can i not feel so unhappy while he's away?

In your heart, send best wishes with him and hope for a quick recovery to his nan. It will be less painful when you've acknowledged to yourself that he is where he needs to be right now.

Well you don't need to be ask if you can go with him and enjoy the week with him and his NAn. But if says you can't well just don't worry he will be back. you should be able to make it till he gets back. If not get his number and call him when you feel lonely, or tell him to call you every chance he gets.

For pete's sake..grow up. He'll be gone for a week. How do you think people deal with their spouses going off to war? They MAY never see them again and never know when they will return. making an issue bigger than it really is will make life very pitiful. Think about those who are worse off than you during this holiday season. That should make you forget about him being away.
