I'm 20 years old, college student. It bothers me how with long basketball shorts, the fabric flops around everywhere when running. Is it okay to wear these short nike runner's shorts? Do guys wear shorts like these?

Some people are just mean, you dont see them posting pics bout themselves; pay no attention! Go for slightly above the knee, thin shorts like those ones. Just search for a day thru out the sports stores, you bound to find them. Go for color also. People this is a honest guy, dont see those much around here.

They are not too short, they are a medium length. If you compare these to basketball shorts or actual running shorts, these are right in the middle. They look fine.
BTW, be sure to lift some weights in addition to the cardio, start doing squats to build up your strength for running and leg strength.

I have about three of four pairs of those shorts. I use them as undershorts. I wear them under the "fabric flopping" basketball shorts. The long shorts are comfortable to me. But I guess that's because I play basketball. Those undershorts I either wear to sleep or as undershorts, either for extra warmth or when my compression shorts aren't clean. But yeah, don't wear those in public :/

They're fine.
I used to do cross country when I was in college. I wore regular shorts.
Nowadays, when I ride bike, I wear the spandex ones. I'm skinny as a rail, so I can get away with it!

Wait .. your talking about basket ball right .. they look ok but i dont think i'd ever wear them .. ok i do have shorts that short but not for basketball .. they're the same lenght as my soccer shorts ..

Well it's like this - If you are confident with who you are, then wear whatever you like. Personally, I think the shorts look fine on you, and if you are comfortable, then go with it. Other people find that the long shorts are more comfortable and/or they like to hide their legs. Keep it real....

I think it's fine as long as it's used when running (maybe a little longer for any case).
