i have a week from thrusday to travel any suggation?

i have a week to go somewhere with my kids and husband by driving from oklahoma .any suggation where we can go and have family fun time

Pick and choose Go up I-44
visit precious moments at carthage (near joplin) free
visit fantastic caverns or the bass pro wildlife exhibit in springfield ($12 to $15 I think) if you wish
Go down 65 to branson and do a dayor two at silver dollar city or a show. Visit the new riverwalk - very nice pedistrian area use parkign garage on north end of area it is still free.
If you do SDC it will be crowded and park access is the biggest bottleneck so go early and use the south loop of 265/365 to get in or stay at west branson, I think the cave is still open and is included with park admission.
Go south to eureka springs and just relax, shop, ride the trolly and eat and enjoy the scenery. Visit the cresent hotel on to the hill for breakfast and go to the roof to view the city and hills. Visit the little catholic church below the cresent and ride the short rail road for your dinner if you please. If not emmilios is excellent

If you wish to go farther continue to st louis from springfield. Arch, science museum, zoo, riverboat ride if you please

it depends on what you are looking for - go to Denver Colorado and see a great city with some very impressive mountains nearby - but it is winter so it might be cold and dangerous roads.
Or head southwest to Arizona and see the painted desert the grand Canyon and maybe stay a night in vegas and you could continue on to see the coast of southern california.
or you could head south and see the big sites of Texas - Houston, Dallas, The gulf coast, hit up san antonio - there is a Sea World and the Alamo there...
