The echolocation organs make a nice sound. When burning, that is.

Do you mean the fish or the mammal? I imagine that either one would fill your house with an unpleasant fishy odor, and would most likely be cost-prohibitive. If you don't want to use logs, and insist on using animals, I would recommend using something in abundance in your area: possibly cats and dogs, or maybe birds.
If you live in the Great White North, I understand that wolverines cast a pleasant glow, and the aroma, although musky, is not unpleasant. In the U.S. Midwest, Buffalo (although 'technically' an endangered species) have a more earthy quality to the fire they produce, and due to their size, would last quite a long time. Possum are another good choice, although the buggers have rows of sharp teeth so you have to be careful with them.
All in all, if you're dead set on not using wood, there's a veritable cornucopia of different fuels you can use, the only limitations being your imagination.
I hope this helps!

You have to dry them out first,
otherwise they smoke alot when they are burning.
But, if you use enough dolphins, they burn hot enough to keep going.

Why would you want to heat your fire, by definition fire is hot, it doesn't need heating.
