I'll be traveling around the end of february, on a week day. I'm looking for a sleeper car with accomodations for two persons only, does this exist, and how much would it be. Also, any information on travel between vienne and saltzberg and saltzberg and munich would be appreciated. I'd like to travel the cheapest way possible.

There are definately trains between these cities. Munich to Vienna is about 6 hours. I'm assuming you want an over night train since you're asking about sleepers. There's one that leaves Munich at 23:45 and arrives at 6:02. It does have sleepers, though I can't tell you if they have 2 bed rooms or not & neither of my sites give prices. This train runs daily.

There are numerous trains daily from Vienna to Salzburg, and are about 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 hours long.

Salzburg to Munich is often as well, but is usually less than 2 hours.

Use www.bahn.de and click on International Guests.

That will give you the train schedules in English. There are several trains each day on those routes, so choose the ones you want. Salzburg, Vienna and Munich can all be typed with their English names instead of the German ones (Salzburg, Wien and Munchen).

Buy a seat reservation if you're going any distance. It costs an extra 1.60euro or so and is a real lifesaver.

Here are a couple websites that were very helpful to me on a recent trip. Hopefully they will be useful to you as well.

It appears that there are no sleeper cars available for only two persons. There are only accomodations for 4 or 6 persons per car. The cost should be around 110 Euros for a couchette (seats that fold out into small beds).

nicely, it relies upon what you're searching for? if you're searching for a White Christmas, then Vienna is the more beneficial selection, yet if you're searching for a Christmas that the finished kin can take excitement in then Munich is the position to bypass.
