air suspension air compressor????

Question

are there any fuses in the engine compartment for the air compressor for the air suspension? if yes what fuses and what do they do for the compressor?? i ahve a lincoln continental 1992

The protection devise here is a circuit breaker, and it is in the power center box under the hood.
Sometimes they have been replaced by a fuse. It should be marked.
if you replace it and find that the compressor still doesn't work, the compressor has failed and will require replacement.

Not sure about the Continental, but, the T/C has a fuse block on the inside of the fender(open the hood) right side. Black box 5x6, open it and you will find two fuses inside, if I remember right, for the compressor....While I've got you and I am thinking of it, if you need parts here is an address for you: ARNOTT INDUSTRIES on the Internet that has good parts, new,rebuilt, at good prices and they will ship...I use their parts often and they are a hell of a lot less expensive than the dealers..

get rid of windshield washer reservoir. Compressor is decrease than it. ninety one has a valve to pump it up with air hose. The valve isn't recent on later fashions. If compressor is working, then probable air bags leaking. If compressor isn't working, first verify fuses. probable compressor has died. restore by ability of adjusting compressor and/or air bags, or convert to coil springs.
