sometimes there is no way to tell if a doe is pregnate .Well wether or not she is pregnate what you need to do is the following... seperate the 2 and keep them in different cages all the time. second. find out what day is the 28th day of pregnacy then you are going to need to either buy or make a nest box that is the right size for your doe.you can find out what they look like on the web some where or i can e-mail you a picture of one.then you need to put the nest box, with pine shavings in the box , inside of the girls cage. give her a fresh supply of hay everyday... if she is pregnate she will begin to make a nest with the hay and pull fur to put in it.the babies should come between the 30-32 day of pregnacy. if she has been with the buck for awhile then you should leave the box in for a little bit longer. when she has her babies make sure that all are healthy and remove and dead babies in the box. they should all have full little round bellies. i hope this helps you and feel free to e-mail me with any questions.

There are many sites online to tell how exactly to prepare, on big thing is that if you suspect the female is pregnant, DO NOT pick her up. The incedence of miscarriage from handling is high. if she is at least 20 days along, and she's in her cage, gGENTLY glide your hands below her stomach, between her hind legs and tummy, if you palpate her VERY gently you might be able to feel grape like sized lumps, DO NOT PRESS HARD!!! those would be babies.

She will start to pull her fur out around 60 days. to line a nest. Make sure she is somewhere warm, free of drafts and out of the way so that she does not stress about having her babies.

if your female starts to grow a big muff of fur under her chin chances are shes pregnant she will pull this out to line a nest with she will have bald blind babies so the fur keeps them warm. First time moms can some times not be nice moms they can eat the babies, ignore the babies or stomp on them. Don't touch them or she will not nurse them. And of course take the male out of the cage he doen't like babies. Loud noises can scare the babies to death (and the mother sometimes) Lots of experience had over 500 on rabbit farm.
