It can be both because so much is out there. If you are wise in your decisions as parents, cons can be avoided and electr.comm can be a blessing to children. Explore the ways to protect your children from bad things in e.c.

Just as with practically any matter, there are positives and negatives. No matter what kind of "plan" we come up with, there will those who are served well by it and those who will not be.

Personally, I'm glad my kids are "tech savvy" We are coming into an age where technological illiteracy will be seen and treated the same as being unable to read. Sure, kids in general spend more time at sedentary activities than at ANY other time in the past, and the physical effects are evident.

Who will be the more valuable people to our society in 20 yrs? Those who can run fast, throw a ball and dig ditches or those who are well educated in the use of technology and have the ability to adapt to new technologies as they emerge?
