How about Luna? That is what the Romans called it.
If you don't like that name, then how about Selene or Artemis? That is what the Greeks called it.

It doesn't need a "really cool" name, because it's ours and our one and only. While we're at it, how about a "really cool" name for our Earth, or for our Sun? All the other planets and suns that we know about have different names (or at least numbers, until we get around to naming them). I've even named one officially in memory of my father. Why do they have different names? To differentiate them from our own personal sun, moon and planet. And I'll bet that any of those planets that have intelligent life call their sun, moon, and planet something that tranlates out to the same thing. Unless of course, they have more than one moon for their planet. Then who knows what the naming system is!
Incidentally, if you are interested, you can go to the International Star Registry at www.starregistry.com and name a star yourself.
It isn't too horribly expensive. I might even call it cheap, considering what it is......a wonderfully unique way to leave your stamp on the universe.

Luna (from latin)
Selene (the name given by Greeks over 2500 years ago, from which the Latins got Luna).
PS: Although I like "Nightlite" (nice proposal, festeringhump), I'm sticking with names that were actually used thoughout our planet's history. I have found 50 so far. My favorites are:
Aglibol (Arabian)
Mama-Kilya (Inca, in what is now Peru)
Tecciztecalt (Aztec, Mexico)
Yah (Egyptian, maybe Semetic in prior origin)

Zorba 5. It's the name of our local Kebab shop and would suit a small planet quite well!
