Well, take a look when Shaq was on the team the Lakers were the best team in the NBA. Kobe needs a big guy to be effective. Kobe really since shaq left shot tons of shots and the Lakers went No where. Now He's passing more and he's figured out how to score and WIN without SHAQ. Even though Kobes a ball hog he's carryin the lakers witout Shaq. Gotta give him credit

I've always been a Laker fan and loved Kobe. He's just playing great coming off his knee surgery and looks to dominate again just like last year. I just saw that game where they were down by 21 and beat the Rockets. I mean he's just damn good. This year, he looks more passive and getting his teammates involved more. I just hope they do well without Lamar until he comes back.

Kobe's WAY TOO arrogant to become a better player, he already ran off THE best center in the NBA.(who they have won 3 rings back-to-back with) And as soon as Shaq left the Los Angeles Lakers they became crappy. Phil Jackson needed Therapy after dealing with him, thats a sign that he is so arrogant he drove the best coach in the league crazy.KOBE SUCKS! And I will leave it at that.

Kobe is a great player, nothing has changed. He leads his team, and has excelled in basketball. He had a rough start this season due to missing pre-season + first 3 games, but since he has come back as #24. . . he gradually got his rhythm back!!

im a laker fan and i have been my whole life, kobe gets alot of criticism that he dosnt deserve, people say that he wont win a championship without shaq, thats bullshit, shaq blows, hes the laziest piece of **** i have ever seen, he cant hit a jumpshot to save his life, the only thing shaq is good for is being the ******* fatest player in the league, and just standing in the lane preventing other players from getting in it to score... back to kobe, kobe does shoot alot, and people say he is a ball hog, but he dosnt have that great of a supporting cast, and i would trust kobe with the ball over anyone else on that team any day of the week.. shaq has also never won a championship without another superstar on his team, like kobe, and wade.. shaq can suck a C***

He's growing on me. I started looking at him differently last year.
I hated Kobe and the lakers every year since he arrived.
But he impressed me last year, he "manned up" and took responsibility for the team. He stopped being a diva and started trying to help the younger guys.
