About how long would it have been if a flashlight was left on until the batteries actually go dead. Please help me. And remember that I'm wasting five points. Thank you.

It depends what batteries you use, and what kind of flashlight. I did a "science experiment" to see which ones lasted the longest in like...6th grade. I remember I used Duracell...which I think lasted over 10 hours, I believe. But I really can't remember anything more than that.

I'm sorry I couldn't have been of more help.

It depends on how much power was still stored in the batteries when you left the flashlight on.

Where were you went the flashlight went out?

In the dark.

That isn't a homework question as much as it is a simple experiment that you could try for science class. Try different brands of batteries and see which ones last longer.
