Why would someone pull their sleeves over their hands (on a sweater), for reasons other than being cold?

There are several reasons why, they could be cutting, they could be just not aware of it, it could just be a nervous tic, maybe they just like their clothes that way!

I pull my sleeves over my hands but its more of out of nervousness than anything else. Somehow it makes me feel more protected. I have no clue why.

Girls do it because it's fashionable. It makes your arms look longer. There also may be an element of comfort in it, feeling covered up.

I can't really think of another reason why apart from if they got their hands really messy or something.

I don't think this question is really a psychological one!

to be covered, to make arms look longer, to hide yourself until absolutely necessary, germaphobia. Lots of reasons, none of them are really harmful though.

When people get nervous they will do this, its a habit like bitting nails.
