If you're talking about C:\temp, it's not really safe to delete everything in there, but... you're computer won't allow you to delete anything that you're using... so go ahead...

Yes I've actually set me up a little MS-DOS Program that will delete all my temp files and temp folders using Deltree and the erase command. It's called a batch file with the extenstion know as .bat. Anyway I made a batch file that goes to the directory then erase everything then deltrees everything as well so that it get rid of not only files, but the folders also. Then I used task scheduler to set it up to do it every night at 2AM and boom all my temp files are erase while I sleep. Pretty cool eh? It works great to. I even set up a second batch file that will show me whats in the temp directory and will then pause and tell me to press a key to delete the temp files. I've learned alot about MS-DOS batch files and have grown to love them. They go through whatever command you type in there. Here an example of a batch file I could do easily. @ ECHO OFF. Under that ECHO NOW DELETING TEMP FILES (PRESS A KEY). Under that PAUSE. Under that cd\windows\temp. Under that DIR. Under that erase /q /s /f *.*. Under that deltree /y C:\windows\temp\*.*. Last but not least under that EXIT. Then it would go through and delete all temp files and folders after asking me to press a key to continue and then exit MS-DOS in windows afterwards. Am I smart or what nah just kidding. Anyway this is the way I do it so I don't have to worry about deleting my temp files myself it will do it for me when using windows task scheduler. O yeah you have to save the batch file to a place any place on your harddrive you can remember. And you have to be familar with MS-DOS. This is not only for you, but for other people who are familar with making batch files or MS-DOS commands.

No probs...
u can delete all the files and folders in the temp folder.
by searching with this keyword "*.*tmp" (without quotes) u will find more temporary files.
Some files will not let u to delete, since your windows may use that files, it will be automatically deleted after restart.

Generally it is.
Just to let you know however when you attempt to do this you will probably find that some of them cannot be deleted. This is due to the fact that they are current and still in use. So you can rest assured that anything that needs to be kept will lock you out from deleting it. But the rest is fine.

Yes it is safe. It is safe as they are only temporary files that your computer puts in there for use later on. They are not nessecary for the function of your computer or any system operation. And more than likely can be gotten again through surfing the net etc.
