When I worked at Gamestop (I was there when it was called Babbages) we got a 10% discount on everything and we also got to check 1 game out to try ( I was the manager there, and anytime that an employee checked a game out I made them give it a rating and review).

That's the privilege of being a manager. Is it right, no, but will he get away with it yes. If you report him you will be ignored, since you were fired and might have other motives. If a current employee reports it then only one report will also be ignored, that employee might just want to screw with the manager. Now if the entire store (ALL the employees) reportes it and if you had some sort of proof; like video tape of him taking new games out of the store before the release date, then you have a case. But, it won't get your job back. You should be protected under the "whistle blower laws", but if you are rehired then the manager will look for cause and fire you soon after. I am sorry, but you got screwed by a poor manager. As we used to say in the Army, "Rank has it's privileges, and everyone else just gets screwed."
