When you are looking at a song written for piano. There are usually 2 ( 5 lined staff). A staff has 5 lines on it. At the beginning of the lines at the top 5- lined staff there is a mark called a treble clef. It looks kind of like this " &" but backwards . This treble clef is usually for the right hand and if sung the Soprano, or lead, and alto usually sings this part.
The lower 5 lines are called the bass clef. It has a symbol that looks like a backward "C" at the beginning of the staff( that is at the left hand side). It has the bass notes. The lowest note in that clef is usually the bass and the highest note on that staff is usually the tenor note. All notes on this bass clef marked by the backward "C" is for the left had to play the bass .

When you look at a piano score, you should see two staves that repeat on and on till the end of the piece of music. (A stave has 5 lines) The top stave has the treble clef while the second stave has the bass clef. Theoretically speaking, any note can be classified under the treble or bass clef and it's not restrained to which hand is playing those notes. However, sometimes, both staves may have bass clefs. In lower grade pieces, the Bass clef could reach a note as high as the E after the middle C while the Treble clef could have a note as low as a G below the middle C.

However, if you're referring to SATB, that will be another story. The Bass has the lowest notes, followed by the Tenor, the Alto and then the Soprano.

In general, those played with the left hand are bass notes, although as with most things in life there is an exception to the rule. It depends on the piece one is playing. Although I would say that anything below middle C could be classed as a bass note, as the melody can transgress into the bass and back again.

I just wish at this moment in time I could give you an example, but for the life of me it has gone. No doubt those with a bit more knowledge will put that right.

Anything below middle C is a bass note.
You will find there are two staves in piano music. The top one is written in the treble clef, and normally played by the right hand.
The bottom one is written in the bass clef, and normally played by the left hand.

You can tell because you look at the symbol at the beginning of the stave, and that will tell you. You usually play bass clef with your left hand and treble with your right - just look at the beginning of the line. Hope this helps!

If notes are directly on top of one another you play them at the same time. Looks like that first chord is an inversion of B Maj.

Your question indicates a basic lack of knowledge of music and musical instruments. You need much more time than I can give here. Try using a search engine or a musicians specialist chat room something.
