At my work is like that, they kiss the boss to get their way then bosses you around, if you don't do the job he will report you, I also see worker degrade one another down so they look better in the department, I seen a lots od people getting hurt by this

We have that going on where I work but there is alot more than brown nosing going on......This person is the most slack I have ever met but the boss "ignores' it. I am fortunate in that I dont have to deal with her much. Feel sorry for the ones that do.....I dont think much of brown nosers at all.....

I think they are wonderful wonderful creatures and the whole global work structure would collapse if they were not there. They are an essential part of day to day life.
I would rather have open heart surgery by a blind man and a spoon than use anything other than my skills/talent to further my career though.

Try to mind your own business. I'm not saying that to be snotty, but really, if you're constantly monitoring what other people do you will drive yourself crazy. Brown-nosers know that they can't make it on just their talent/intelligence alone so they feel the need to give themselves an edge. It's really a survival instinct.

"Brown noses" are just creeps, but there's a second breed in my firm, the "brown tongues", who really go all out to french-kiss asses and dare I say it, suck the corporate c0ck who really do my head in, as they expect everyone else to have the same asskissing attitude.
Some people just turn up, do the hours and go home. I'm one of those and don't have time for asskissers..

It makes me sick........and I'm THE BOSS!
Funny thing is, they are normally good at their job anyway, just want to make themselves invaluable to Company (so they think)! I think that it is a form of insecurity, least that is how I treat it.

I hate that too, just let them do it and don't help them do their job, the boss will eventually see how useless they are
