years ago there was a liquid that came in cans like pint sized paint. The idea was to shape wire ei, petals, anything, dip into this "liquid 'and it would hang onto the wire form and would dry to a thin plastic texture. Had to let it sit, by sticking untreated wire end into a styrofoam. when it was dried, you could proceed in putting petals together. You ended up with a glossy filmy flower. It came in every color of the rainbow. Is it still available?

Ive got a kit in my craft cupboard, hang on I'll go have a look at it..................................Here it is, weve had it for years, my daughter doesnt like to get dirty so she wasnt really interested in sticky stuff!!

Yes, I used to love the stuff but I think they found it was really toxic and also inhaling it could get someone high; so it was taken off them markets.

i think wal-mart has something like it called plasticoat in automotive. It's for putting plastic handles on tools

It made people high, so they got rid of it.
