Its not particularily a gay term since it can apply to any young man or woman, gay or straight. But mostly male.
Aberzombie is young adult male, high school age to early twenties who is obsessed with certain store brand labels, in this case a play on the store name Abercrombie & Fitch. A faddy store chain through out North America catering to the suburban teen and young adults, noted for a dressier casual style, sexually charged adevertising. Popular also with younger gay males of high school age still living in the suburbs and denizen of malls. Most grow out of this phase when they reach maturity and start straying from Mall culture and responsible for their own bills.
