If running against a man with hair (regardless of politics, this is a question about how much looks play in politics)

Unfortunately many people still look at a man's (or woman's) appearence instead of the content of his character and where he stands on the issues.

I don't think so if his personality is stronger than the other guy's, plus being bald is being different, and obviously with the immense and ever growing popularity of Clinton and Obama, different is the new cool in America and is what Americans prefer right now.

So no, I think the opposite - his chances would improve.

EDIT: I'm watching Terry Bradshaw on t.v. right now and look how popular he is.

Yes, baldness isn't considered a desirable trait.

Just like most presidential elections have gone to the taller candidate.

No, being bald is caused by genetics and not anything the person has done. Who knows? Maybe more people would connect with him due to physical appearance.

No chance. Hillary will definitely be President. This will be a truly hysteric occasion. The FIRST female to ever have a First Husband and Philanderer.

Well, if I'm having trouble picking a person based on their views on politics and yadda yadda, i use looks as a tie-breaker. So buh-bye baldy.

I can bet that even Danny Devito can beat George Bush anytime now. Devito is not only bald, he is short as well. :)

Good observation, Alex.

I think as long as you look civilized and are smart and have confidence in yourself and can do it you can win an election!!!

Hmmmm...perhaps that's why Obama is so popular, let's see... he's tall, dark & hansome with a full head of hair!
