It depends on the kind of reptile but most have 3 or 4 toes that have sticky pads to climb with

Lizards are suppose to have 5 toes, chameleons however have 2 melded toes. 3 toes melded together on one side and 2 on the other. That way they can grasp sticks better.

The lizards we have ( chinese water dragon and a bosc monitor) both have 5 toes each foot, sorry websters dictionary!

Just looked it up in Webster Dictionary - they are a 4 foot creature....

My iguana and my anole both have five fingers/toes on each foot. hope this helps!! =]
