What would you recommend to give to teenage girls around the age of twelve to fourteen as Christmas presents? These girls are not really into technology as in video games or anything to do with fitness such as a leather basketball.

I forgot to tell to say that I know like any ordinary girls these girls like perfume, clothing, etc, but I want to give them something that's different also if I don't know which stores they shop at. If I bought them clothes, they might not have liked so then what would I do then? I want to give them something that they can actually use, and please don't tell me to make something. Arts and crafts was never my strong point.

Why not give an event? Tix to some great kid concert coming up,(and in the event there isn't one coming up soon or you don't know what they might like, the services like Ticketron have what is called "giftix", a gift card that they can exchange for a show of their choice)....or maybe a gift certificate to get their nails done, hair done, etc.

Would you like to try some toys or dolls. There are some Chinese ethnic dolls with beautiful embroidery, and handsome hand puppets like Mulan, monkey king... or maybe little vases for them to put on their desks. For the fashion idea, maybe a silver bracelet or earrings will be satisfied by them.

Get something that brings back memories or inside jokes for my brother I got him wooden spoons, a locker and antibacterial hand soap. Walmart sells gift sets. Also this site has some really good ideas: http://www.gifts.com/

A friends daughters have pierced ears. I gave them gift certificates to Claires, a local, mall-based store, specializing in earrings, bracelets and what-not for girls that age.

okay i am honestly at that exavt age and all i would like is clothes and everything u listed..... but dont buy it for them if u dont know what they like...if they have any hobbies u could support that or you could have them go and pic sumthings out and then buy a few of the things..it might ruin it if u dont buy it when they r gone... when they pic it out it makes them wonder if they will get it do u r not relli ruinin it

Maybe something for their rooms! Like a cute little lamp or like someone mentioned, something for their hair.
