Not the greatest tickets, but are they THAT bad?

I have tickets for row 23 in the upper bowl at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit (row 27 is the highest)...I realize they are'nt the greatest seats, but has anyone out there sat in the seats that high up?...Is it tolerable to watch the game from there?

You may have to being a battery-operated TV with you, but that's ok. You're there for the experience and to support the team.

Well, if the ACC was designed more or less the same elevation angle as the Joe, then it's not that bad. I was at a Leafs' game a few years ago in the nosebleeds and even then you can see the jersey numbers.
