You have to be the judge. Only you will know if they mean it.

Someone you hate? Or someone you think hates you? Why bother wasting energy onit, I say if they say sorry accept it for what it is otherwise it will just keep eating you up inside. And in the end the one who suffers will be you and not them. So don't give them power over you by trying to suss out whether it was sncere or not, just accept the apology and move on. That way you will not be tied down by all that negative emotion! And hey! When you say sorry,.... do you mean it?

Whether you hate the person or not does not have anything to do with you receiving a sincere apology from them. Whether a person actually means it when they say they're sorry would depend on their character and what type of person they are. I have said sorry to people who hated me - if I'm wrong, then I'm wrong.

It's possible but you don't normally believe them because you hate them so much but you have to try and look pass that hate to find the sincerity in their apology.

I know this boy I hate and if he ever told me sorry for anything he did to me I wouldn't believe his apology was sincere but I'm trying to look past my hate for him.
