SRV's guitar that he used most often, it looks like it has been smashed around for days, yet, it still sounds good. Anyone knows if there is something behind it ?

Probably because it was his favorite guitar and he had it for years.Ever see Willie Nelsons guitar?It has actual holes in it.

Because he played it soooo hard. Happens when you're the best damned guitarist in the world. No one will ever be better...HE STILL ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
