It's got nothing to do with Girl Power! it's a matter of having Talent! ...From the start of the compitition i knew Leona was going to win the X Factor and i think it's good she has won coz she has an amazing voice, which we don't get to hear much oftern from any british females. She has pure talent and it's time she stepped up to the game! Ray was good but i don't think he had it in his voice but good luck to him. Anyways lets hope that Leona does not turn into those one hit wonders of the X Factor coz that's what normally happens with the winners. People with great voices like that should be around for ever not just here today...gone tomorrow!

Well done to Leona!!! I heard a lot good comments said about her and a few bad but remember X Factor is a talent competition at the end of the day, all the bad comments, that she doesn't have feeling or she doesn't have star quality, well the results prove the facts, please everyone remember these people normally entering this type of competition have little to no experience on the big stage, well at least not on a professional level for them to come out and sing in front of a live audience week after week and to pull out a performance like that is phenomenal ask yourself could you DO IT!!.....I rest my case!!!! Leona with the right material and managerment will be around for a long while hopefully, I wish Ray well too.

There was simply no contest. You had a cabaret act (Ray) and a pop star (Leona). The X-Factor is about the next best pop star. Leona wasn't even challenged. I do like her - but she's gonna have to do better in my books. I won't be getting the debut single.

Yeah i'd agree with you she is a great singer in my oppinion possibly the best out of all the contestants this year but i would have hoped Ben would have given her a run for her money because he's quite good himself but you gotta love Ray too. Someone had to go between the three of them.

Not Girl Power but a fixed and hyped victory.
The "competition" was a foregone conclusion from the beginning.
The girl was from a stage-school for one thing and not strictly an amateur who sang in her spare time between filing her nails ,chatting to friends on her mobile and making tea for the boss.

The only person that won was Simon Cowell's production company. In 12 months time we'll all be saying "Leona who?".

Girl power had nothing to do with it.
She won because she was by far and away the most talented. As Sharon said, it would have been a travesty if she hadn't.
