Read some of the Knicks excuses for why the fight happened.

"They were running up the score"
"They were trying to embarrass us"
"They still had thier starters on the court"

Get over it and act like men. Sometimes you are going to get your *** handed to you and get embarrassed. It doesn't mean you have the right to play dirty and start fights.

No, I am saying that the other team running the score up on you or the other team embarrassing you are not excuses to take someone's head off in the first place. The Knicks should have decided to let it go instead of dishing out the flagrent foul.

You earn respect by being a good basketball team, not beating up the other team. The Knicks should go to practice and actually learn to play basketball rather than worrying about ways to protect thier pride when better teams kick thier ***.

This answer is not about the Knicks nor any particular team, but about all NBA & NCAA team players... Well, the more ranked they are (both NBA & NCAA) the more whiny babies they are. Look at Iverson (LOOSER), Shaq (Grandpa), Barkley (Greatgrandpa).

There is couple of exceptions, Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson, they are both up to the stature that they have earned... Ohh also Larry Bird. Most of the rest of the "big names" are just showoffs... Like all the rest of our "adored" Sports Celebrities.

First off...the object of the game is to score more points than your opponent. Now i realize the Nuggets were up by quite a bit by that point, but there no NBA rule stating that if your team is up by a certain amount of points, you have to pull certain players off the court. Last time i checked, one of the goals for players is to have decent statistics to show the quality of player he is, and in turn, entertain the fans who pay to watch them play. Lastly, the Nuggets are one of the highest scoring teams in the league where the Knicks are playing like a team just going through the motions...you'd be a fool not to expect a blowout and a sense of humiliation when it happens...maybe relocation of the Knicks is what they need...New York has lost its nerve in the NBA.

This business of being "shown up" and "disrespected" is all a bunch of crap...it's another way of saying "they kicked our butts".

The reaction of some of the Knicks talking about how they have to "protect their teammate" is a lot of B.S. as well. First of all, that wasn't one of the 500 hardest fouls I've ever seen, that foul was nothing...

And as far as "protecting their teammate", the guy who was fouled got right up and was in the face of the guy who committed the foul in about two seconds...there was nothing to 'protect' him from...he's a big boy, he should be able to take care of himself. The Knicks were talking as if the entire Nuggets team was mauling the guy, 10 on 1, and therefore, they had to come to their 'teammate's' aid.

Any talk of 'teamwork' or "teammates" on the Knicks is a joke anyway. The Knicks haven't played team ball since about 1973.

The NBA is (almost) nothing but a bunch of whiners. You can basically count on two hands the number of guys who just shut up and play ball...

Well, Denver sure didn't show great sportsmanship with J.R. Smith pulling off that nasty dunk. However, that flagrant foul sure wasn't necessary. He wasnt even gonna do anything but simply lay it up that time, and he gets choked. You're right, there are nights where you are gonna get killed. New York knows they are one of the worst teams in the league, and either way, they still got destroyed. So not ALL nba players are like that, but its only because the knicks are struggling so much and as a player, they have alot of pride...but in that case, that was stupidity.

Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen because: a million. they are Celtics 2. They stole the championship from my crew (the Lakers) 3. i imagine they are way too conceited and cocky....fantastically now that they have got received interior the Finals 4. they are puffed up...they could have dry spells and droughts a useless ringer for the different basketball participant (get at the same time: Ray Allen in each playoff recreation until eventually the Finals and Kevin Garnett in recreation 5 antagonistic to the Lakers)

They have no reason to start a fight, but for hot head players like myself, sometimes it is hard to control that anger or frustration. I mean it's not they whine they just can't stand getting beat so bad.

They arent babies.. they just have alot of pride and they tend to stick together so when one person gets the crap knocked out of him his team mates will stick up for him.
