@other answerers: This is an actual question, not what you think based on your favoirte team.
I think they will go to the World Series, but lose to the Yankees. They are shaping up to be a better team thatn last years' Yankees.
(BTW, I am NOT a fan of the Yankees. Believe it or not, I'm a huge Cardinal fan)

first of all, jay w is a LOSER. the cardinals cant possibly play the yankees in the first round of the playoffs. theyre in different leagues. and as to the question, the cards will do very well if they can stay healthy. if rolen, pujols, edmonds, and ecstien (sp?) can stay healthy they they will go to the series again. and my comment to all of the people that say that ecstien didnt deserve the ws mvp, he has heart and he loves the game. simply put. he plays with determination and drive. yeah, he might not be the most gifted player out there, but you dont see him going out there shooting roids and talkin trash do you? so many players are out there just for the money and are arrogant (like barry bonds). ecstien in my opinion is a well deserved, awesome baseball player that i have admired from the time he entered the league

Come in 2nd in the NL Central and then slip into the playoffs through the Wild Card. Go on to either lose the NLDS or NLCS.

They wont make the playoffs.
The Cubs win the division
and Philly takes the wild card.

They'll barely make it to the playoffs, like they did this year .But the won't have any World Series hopes cuz they'll be eliminated by the Yankees in the first round.
