Like SteveO says, it is nearly impossible to keep water out of your nose if you swim alot. After morning workouts, I sometimes have pool water draining from my sinuses unexpectedly at work - it can lead to funny situations. Do not exhale too much during flip turns, since you need the air to finish the turn well.
Here are some suggestions: 1-get a nose pincher device (there are some decent masters swimmers who use them!) 2- learn to block your nostrils with your upper lip (need to inhale a little). 3-swim with a diving mask. 4- get used to it.

Blowing out air from your nose. Or getting one of those things that can block your nose.

It's impossible to do that without one of those weird looking nose pieces, so you have to blow out from your nose, not your mouth, every time you go underwater. Especially while on your back.
