"Jail House Rock" by Elvis Presley - I was sixteen and my dad took me out to a music shop and he bought me a record player (as they were called way back then in the 1950's) and a dozen records - the black, breakable sort. For every rock 'n roll or jazz record I picked he made me pick something he liked, such as Harry Secombe singing Christmas carols or some such stuff, so in the end I only got six of the twelve promised records as I never listened to the others, but played Elvis, VERY LOUD, to annoy Dad, just like a typical teenager.

The first record I bought was an instrumental, a jazz version of the nursery rhyme song. " Oranges and Lemons" with Eric Delaney on drums.

Pink Floyd The Wall
I liked it and still do.
A lot of the music I buy today doesn't last long in my collection.
I have some of George Michael's CD's.
The one I listen to the most of his is "Listen Without Prejudice, Vol. 1"
