you can give him a warm bath not to deep always supervised etc.... not necessary though. Some enjoy some don't you do need to mist the dragon with water every day as they don't generally drink from a bowl they lick off their face so spray on his body. Not cold water either. This will also keep up the humidity levels.

I beg to differ on bearded dragons having boring colors. I have seen from pale normal grayish color to the most insanely bright colors you can imagine. Yes leo's tend to have better pattering but I don't really like their colors. But I also think with reptiles all colors are just a variation of another color. I mean how can a Blood Bearded Dragon or a Yellow Hypo Pastel be boring? I raise and breed both leopard geckos and bearded dragons both can have stunning colors.

My iguana and my anole enjoy it when I fill up the tub with really warm water. They just swim around and have a ball. Your bearded dragon probably would like it too, but You should definatly supervise him for the first few times. Also, put something in there that he could rest on if he didn't feel like floating anymore (a sealed glad box with air in it that floats, or a big rock that sticks out of the surface). For the first time, keep it shallow. If he likes it, fill it up so he can't touch the bottom.
Good luck! =]

Let him decide if he needs one.
Get a dog food bowl big enough for him to get into. Fill it with distilled water and let it come to room temp.
Don't warm the water. Cold blooded animals can go into shock and die if the temperature changes too fast. The water needs to be as close to the cage temp as you can get it.
If you leave the bowl in the cage he will get in or not as he likes. Don't leave it in all the time, maybe just an hour or 2 every other day. They are desert dwellers and like it on the dry side, and as the water evaporates, it will raise humidity levels in the cage.
Good luck

yes you can give your bearded dragon a bath, but it should be shallow (the vet says up to there shoulders) and put a cloth in the bowl first and then water so the bearded dargon has something to hold on to. only do this when its time for its shed. otherwise misting is good for them. my beardy loves it, he just stands ther with his eyes shut, but moves away when hes had enough!!!
cheers

One of my teachers (also a good friend of mine) owns a bearded dragon. You don't need to give them baths, they stay pretty clean on their own (as long as you clean out their cage so they aren't wallowing in their own filth). If they are dirty, get a wash cloth (obviously one YOU don't want to use again) and wet it with warm water. Then, wipe down your lizard going in the direction of the scales (they hate it when you wipe the the wrong way, just like cats). They'll like the warmth and you will also be able to keep them clean. Good luck!

My Beardie loves baths but the Igs like the shower. Make sure the water is not too warm. To see if yours is going to like the water put a container of water that is large enough to "take a dip in" in his cage. Don't force him to take a bath that will scare him. If yours seems to be afraid of the water make sure you at least mist him with water.

Yes, but here's the thing, dont fill it up too much, dont scrub them or anything, and your beardie will love to swim! The bathing ( once a month at least, up to 1 time ev'ry 2 weeks) will help in the shedding process. Also use cooler water!
Happy beardie bathing/swimming!

You can give him a bath in shallow, luke warm water whilst supervised. However they will prefer a shower as they can clean themselves more easily and prefer the sturdiness of the bath floor.
