I have all three and the mellowest ones are my king snakes. The corn snakes likes to stay hidden but when I handle him he is cool. The milk snake doesn't like to be held or it isn't used to it yet either, but I'm workin on it. My kings snakes are real calm, real easy to take care of and have been growing rapidly since I've gotten them. But all snakes are different, so your next snake will be different then mine or the same.

Since all three have common traits, any would be fine. We have two corns and a king for pets. I would look at the colors and shape of the head, etc. to see which you like best. Please don't support morphism, though. It is brutal on the snake's genes. Personally, I like Okeetee corn snakes and banded California king snakes by the looks and temperament.

For the record, our king snake is more aggressive than our corns. But, a bite from a juvenile king is not even like the pinch of a child.

Either would be great snakes to keep. Just make sure they are healthy and eating. I prefer kings myself but sometimes, not always, they can be a bit feisty.
Gopher snakes are not the prettiest of snakes but they are among the easiest to keep.

Corns are wonderful snakes for novices, I myself have one, and he's just a delight. They are very laid back and forgiving of basic husbandry(food, heat, living space) mistakes. They come in so many colours you are bound to find one you like, and are relatively long lived. I HIGHLY recommend a corn.

King and Milk aren't bad either for the record, Corns just tend to be more friendly.

i would suggest getting a milk snake, they dont get much bigger than 3 feet and they are a gorgeous sight in the tank. ive had mine for a few months and hes my youngest snake, hes also the most active during the day. all they need is a hiding space and care

You should go with a king snake they are great hearty skakes. The one I had ate very well and it did not bite much.
