Liberals hate the concept... a libtard I once worked with described family values as a figment of conservative imagination (I quit the job when they made him department head). The left has endeavored for years to stamp it out (as in hard core communist countries) and have had a high degree of success here. Now without it you see what what the socialist liberal utopia has become... Welfare ghettos, drug empires, and a drive-by an hour. "But we just have to do SOMETHING... you know?"

I think that family values are something that is very important to society. But at the same time, family values are just that, values passed down through a family. As a real Democrat, I believe that family values, while important, are not to be put on all families, and that the only important thing about values in general is the basis of right and wrong, instead of a public and political OPINION of right and wrong.

The headlines are full of tragedy from a world born of no family values. It takes a lot of courage and work to be a parent these days, especially if you are doing it right.

Hmph... too harsh to adopt family values, the way your parents would (even if it's not the best), especially in Nigeria and the Middle East. I want to create mine with a legacy.

I'm all for it, it's what got this country this far. Now with different values in effect, see how its starting to fall apart.

as a liberal, im against them.
i think that it is the sunday school teachers of this country that are destroying it.
we need more liberal appointed judges that will look the other way. clinton is my favorite president because his judges consistantly twist the words and make up words in the constitution in order to take away traditional american values.
as a liberal i think american values are the most evil things in this world.
even if we have to appoint attorney generals like janel reno who know next to nothing about the law, i believe it should be done for the greater good.
