unfortunately, there isn't anything you can do but let a girl figure things out herself.
I know because I was once just like your friend, I had a crush on a loser that all my friends hated and looked down on but I didn't believe them at that time. I didn't believe them till I was hurt. I didn't believe them till it was too late, it was after he had used me till he didn't need me no more then he kicked me to the corner because now I'm worthless to him.
It might bad bad but there isn't really anything you can do but prevent her from seeing him as much as you can without making her think that you are just jealous or something becuase you didn't go out with him anymore.

Guys may have crush on more then one gal at a time. So if you feel he is interested in you and your friend both. Well then you should not delay and show him that you are very much interested in him otherwise your friend might attract him. Its the matter of come first take first rule.

tell her nicely as her friend and then drop it..... you can not be in charge of anothers life. Start by telling her that you love her as your good friend and don't want to see her hurt..... explain about your experience with him then leave her to do what ever it is that she thinks she has to do so she can either accept all the blame or if she changes him for the better she gets all the credit .... it is nice that you want to help but each of us can only do so much.

You can only do so much for a friend. If it's something she doesn't want to hear, she will tune you out. Be there for her when she wises up, and hold the I-told-you-so's.

P.S. You are NOT her mother.

Just tell her straight up. There is no other way. The longer you wait, the more she will hate you since you already know what an *** he is already.
