you have TV do you not? then get cable broadband from your cable carrier. if you have no ethernet, you can get an ethernet to usb adapter. works a little bit slower, but hardly noticeable.

The "jack" you are referring to is known as the "Ethernet" Adapter. These adapters are very easy to come by online or in a local store like "radio shack."

Just go in and ask for an "PCI Ethernet Adapter."

Installing your PCI Ethernet Adapter:

1. Open your case.

2. Locate an open PCI slot. (See example 1)

3. There should be a strip of metal right at the edge of the PCI slot. Remove the strip to allow your card's jack to be accessible from outside the computer. (see example 2 - pci mounting slot)

4. Insert your PCI card. Make sure the copper pins all make contact and won't go any further in.

5. Put a screw threw the scre-hole at the top of the jack housing. (example 3)

6. Close your case.

7. Install the card drivers if any came with it.

8. Enjoy your internet!
