I'd estimate that the cost of college, plus housing in most places (NOT New York, Chicago, or LA) would be around 25,000 to 30,000 a year at the lowest, and possibly around 40,000 a year on the higher side. Of course if you go to an expensive area and expensive school, the sky is the limit.

The normal costs of living by yourself (rent, electricity, groceries, etc), plus your college tuition (yours will be higher since you don't live in the state of the college/university and are not from the US). They costs will vary though due to which place you choose to go to (each place has it's own tuition fees), plus the different cities have a different cost of living so that is also variable.

The costs vary. Will you be doing the work or will you be hiring a contractor? I'm sure wherever you are building you must also factor in the cost for permits and such.
