99mustang rear brake adjusters turn back in right or left?

to replace pads, do I turn the adjusters clock-wise or anti-clockwise?

When you replace the brake pads, turn the adjuster all the way in. They should be self adjusting, so just back up and apply your brakes. Did mine yesterday on my truck, worked fine.

on rear disc system you turn the pistons clockwise

Depends on which side you're working on.
