The following statement is true: "If you are a Patriot fan, then you wear purple on Thursdays." Write a statement that must be true based on this statement.
I'm not sure if I'm supposed to write the converse or not or what to do here.

If today is Thursday, AND you are wearing purple, you MAYorMAY NOT be a Patriot Fan. (i'm betting your teacher wants to see what logical conclusions can be drawn, no matter how silly they sound). If today is NOT Thursday, AND you are a Patriots fan, you can wear any color you want.

The contrapositive would be "If you do not wear purple on Thursdays then you are not a Patriot fan." It is always true.
